The Bay Institute Aquarium Foundation (TBIAF) actively works with City College of San Francisco (CCSF) and the A. Philip Randolph Institute (APRI) as its principal partners to steward the EcoCenter and Heron’s Head Park along with a multitude of other collaborators and supporters. TBIAF, CCSF, and APRI work towards a common goal for the EcoCenter to be a treasured resource for Bayview Hunter’s Point and an epicenter for sustainability and environmental education, place-based learning, and green career development for San Francisco and beyond. We explore and promote shared interests and expertise that will be pursued through a variety of initiatives including but not limited to public outreach, educational and public programs, green career education and training, community enrichment activities, and volunteer opportunities.
In addition to an EcoCenter Advisory Committee (EAC) consisting of representatives from the Bayview Hunter’s Point community, government agencies, business, labor and environmental educators, our current supporters and collaborators include:
- Bay Natives
- Environmental Science Associates (ESA)
